Facing the Challenge: TESOL and EAL strategies and skills to support changing needs

Who should attend?

  • Mainstream teachers of refugee and migrant students
  • EAL/D specialist teachers
  • Adult migrant and ELICOS practitioners

Presentations will include:

  • refugee related topics, particularly intercultural communication and working with victims of torture and trauma
  • language acquisition
  • practical sessions relating to supporting refugee students in mainstream classes, aimed at mainstream teachers.

Members     $15*  (to cover cost of catering)
