QATESOL

Membership

QATESOL advocates on behalf of teachers and learners and fosters professional development in ESOL. We do this by:

  • Providing professional learning including workshops, conferences and seminars
  • Publishing a newsletter for QATESOL members 3 to 4 times a year
  • Advocating for the needs of our learners
  • Responding to local and national educational innitiatives and policies on ESOL issues
  • Working with other states through the Australian Council of TESOL Associations (ACTA)
  • Distributing ACTA information and publications to QATESOL members
  • Supporting QATSOL members to attend professional learning opportunities
  • Diseminating relevant information from local, national and international sources
  • Promoting research in our area though the Anna Kohler fund and QATESOL Newsletter
